Warrior Spirit Muay Thai & Kickboxing (“we”, “us”) runs this website and the gym at Next Gen Fitness, Mount Grace Road, Potters Bar EN6 1RB. This page explains what personal information we collect through the website, why, and what your choices are.
What we collect
If you send an enquiry (for example to book a free class): your name, phone number, email address and your message.
If you create an account or book personal training: your name, mobile number, email address, a password (stored only in scrambled form, never in plain text), and the details of your bookings, including any notes you add. If you choose “Continue with Google” we receive your name and email address from Google. We never see your Google password.
If you are a coach: your login details and anything you upload to the coach area, such as profile text and photos.
Photos and videos: the gym shares photos and videos of training and fight nights. We only publish images of children if their parent or guardian is happy for them to be used.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to run bookings and accounts, to email you confirmations and reminders about your booking, to keep our members and coaches safe and to run the gym. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Our legal reasons are: to carry out what you have asked us to do (your enquiry or booking), our legitimate interest in running the gym and keeping the website secure, and your consent where we ask for it (for example the tick box on the enquiry form).
Who handles it for us
We use trusted services to run the site. They only process your information on our behalf:
- Vercel, which hosts the website and stores uploaded files;
- Upstash, which stores our booking and account database;
- Google, which sends our emails through Gmail, provides the optional “Continue with Google” sign-in, and stores photos and videos that coaches upload to Google Drive.
Some of these services are based outside the UK, mainly in the EU and the USA, and rely on approved safeguards for transfers.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work, mainly to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and booking records for as long as we need them to run the gym and answer questions, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to how we use it, or to take a copy of it. To do any of these, email us at the address below. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
